Hi, I’m Greg Lock.
A personal trainer working to help women with PCOS balance their hormones, build strength, and regain confidence. No extreme dieting, overtraining, or generic fitness advice.
What I do today is deeply personal because my entire life has been shaped by understanding how the body, hormones, and mental health work together.
Rock bottom at 14 years old.
At 14 years old, I left school with zero qualifications due to daily panic attacks. Even attending a referral centre felt impossible. I wasn’t eating properly, I felt weak, and I believed I’d completely let my parents down.
I was at rock bottom both mentally and physically.
Video games became my escape, a way to hide from the real world. Eventually, I realised I didn’t want to hide anymore. I wanted to feel strong.
I bought my first pair of dumbbells from Argos and trained obsessively, sometimes to the point of injury. But for the first time in my life, I felt progress, control, and purpose.
Training transformed more than my body.
When I joined a local bodybuilding gym, everything changed. Training didn’t just build my body it transformed my confidence, mental resilience, and outlook on life.
I became obsessed with understanding how the human body actually works. From my mid-teens onward, I spent thousands of hours studying:
- Hormones and the endocrine system
- Metabolism and insulin resistance
- Nutrition for sustainable fat loss
- Strength training backed by science
By the time I completed my personal training qualification, I had already gone far beyond the curriculum due to years of independent study and practical application. Even while anxiety made classrooms difficult, I never stopped learning.
Everything clicked.
Everything clicked when I began working with a female client who told me she had PCOS. I went home and researched it properly and quickly realised PCOS is not “just a reproductive issue.” It is a complex endocrine and metabolic condition involving hormones, insulin sensitivity, stress, and lifestyle.
Suddenly, everything I’d been studying since I was 14 made sense.
We applied a PCOS-specific approach to training and nutrition, and her transformation was incredible not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
That moment defined my career path.
August 21st, 2022
A promise that changed my life.
On August 21st, 2022, my nan passed away after battling adversity with incredible strength. The day before she died, I whispered to her that I was going to step up my life and build something meaningful.
I gave myself three months to build an online coaching business dedicated to helping women with PCOS worldwide. I invested in mentorship, learned how to build a real business, and committed fully to my mission.
No shortcuts. No handouts. Everything earned.

I continue to read studies, refine my methods, and educate myself daily because women with PCOS deserve evidence-based coaching, not generic fitness advice.
